Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions

At the Apex, we adhere to the rules and regulations set out by our Governing Body, Ireland Active. To download a copy of their policies, click here. We have our own Swimming Lesson rules and guidelines, which can be read here.

All swimmers & parents at the Apex swimming lessons are required to abide by the Code of Conduct set out to ensure the protection of all our swimmers. Please read through the Code of Conduct here.

By agreeing to our swimming lessons terms and conditions, you are also consenting to the agreement to follow our facility terms and conditions.

The Apex swimming programme will ensure each swimmer receives the best instruction available. In the interest of safety for all swimmers, we ask parents/guardians, visitors and children to observe the following rules.

Fee’s, Term Registration & Refunds

  1. All swimmers must register on the Apex swimming lesson programme each term through our secure online system, ClassForKids, to maintain their place within a class. The correct level and class must be booked, or the class will not be refunded, and the place may be lost.
  2. Payments are to be made via this system – cash, cheque or bank transfer will not be accepted.
  3. Places cannot be held for swimmers who do not register on time.
  4. We run on a strict “no fees, no swim” policy. Failure to pay fees on time will mean that your child will not be allowed to participate in lessons.
  5. It is not possible to “make up” for missed classes or be refunded if your child no longer chooses to continue their booking
  6. In the event of closure in exceptional circumstances that are beyond management control, i.e. adverse weather conditions, etc, refunds cannot be processed, but lessons will be rescheduled.
  7. Fees cannot be refunded

General/Class Rules

  1. Please ensure swimmers arrive on time and are collected on time.
  2. Parents or children are not permitted onto the pool deck unless invited in by a member of the Apex staff.
  3. All swimmers are expected to show respect and courtesy towards their instructors and fellow swimmers. Bad behaviour of any type will result in a meeting/phone call with a parent/guardian and further discussion of the issue.
  4. Bullying of any kind is not tolerated and will be dealt with immediately.
  5. Please ensure your child brings a swim hat and goggles to lessons, should they need them (swim hats are compulsory).
  6. All children attending lessons are asked to help tidy up the floats, etc., around the swimming pool deck at the end of the lesson. This is expected from all swimmers. It creates a good sense of responsibility and a good work ethic.
  7. Ensure your child wears the appropriate swimming attire. General leggings or non-swimmer t-shirts are not suitable for swimming.
  8. All jewellery must be removed.
  9. If you have to bring any valuables to the Apex, please use and lock the lockers provided. We cannot be responsible for any items that go missing.
  10. All equipment must be treated with respect and not purposely damaged in any way.
